Kim Kardashian gave birth to a healthy baby girl on June 15 — albeit a small one at under 5 pounds according to E! Online — but the notoriously publicity-hungry star has remained uncharacteristically tight-lipped about her new bundle of joy. We guess Kim and baby daddyKanye West are basking in that new parent glow. While there's no official word on the name of what is sure to be one of the world's most privileged babies, we do have some insights.

First, sources close to Kim tell E! that the babies name will start with a "K." Right, we know what you're thinking — "DUH." There is also a high possibility that Special K's middle name will be "Donda," after Kanye's late mother, Donda West. 

We know it's probably too late to offer a suggestion — the couple had definitely decided on a name, they just weren't sharing it with the likes of us — but we have some suggestions anyway. Here are some K names we think are right up their alley:

Kalliope: A variation on the spelling of Calliope, this name that refers both to a musical instrument and the Greek muse of poetry. This little one will almost certainly be an inspiration to her musician daddy, after all!

Kalista: Speaking of names of Greek origin, why not Kalista? It means "most beautiful one." Since the baby reportedly takes after her mommy in the looks department, that seems pretty fitting!

Khadija: Arabic in origin, this name means "early baby." Considering she dropped a full five weeks early, it certainly would be appropriate!

Kim Kardashian's Baby: Kanye West Thrilled to See Daughter! — Report

Kim Kardashian has just given birth to her first child, and no one is feeling heartless about the occasion! According to an eyewitness at the hospital where Kim just welcomed her baby daughter, new daddy Kanye West could not be happier about the birth, Hollywood Life is reporting. Kanye was said to be both emotional and elated after Kim gave birth on June 15. He then was reportedly met with well-wishers at the hospital throughout the day. “He was on the north side tower hugging two women,” says a source, adding that the guests appeared to be Kim's relatives. “It was a warm embrace.” We love that the sometimes-surly Kanye is so thrilled to be a papa! Just after Kanye met with the women, Kim received four carts of flowers carrying white Casablanca lilies, which appeared to be a gift from the women. How sweet! Among the guests at the hospital was Kim's BFF Brittny Gastineau, who stopped by to wish Kim the best. Congrats to the happy family!

The couple's daughter was delivered on Saturday morning via C-section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, Calif. The trio are reportedly spending their first hours together alone as a family. "Kim and the baby are doing great, and everything went very smoothly," an insider exclusively tells OKMagazine.com, noting the premature newborn is in an incubator for now as a precaution. New mom Kim was extremely emotional after giving birth. "She cried when she saw her for the first time," reveals the insider, who adds Kanye called the baby his "good luck charm." As OKMagazine.com was one of the first to report, Kim went into labor weeks earlier than anticipated, capping off what's already been a whirlwind year for her and Kanye. The pair, who began dating last spring, announced in December that they were expecting a child together. And Kim's hotly contested divorce to her ex-husband Kris Humphries finally became official on June 4. So now that his daughter is here, Kanye is certain he'll be extremely watchful over her and the other most important female in his life. "I would do anything to protect my child or my child's mother," he told The New York Times. "I just don’t want to talk to America about my family. Like, this is my baby. This isn’t America’s baby." Leyla Ghobadi to Kim Kardashian: Kanye West Will "Never Be Faithful"

Canadian Leyla Ghobadi, the model who accused Kanye West of cheating on Kim Kardashian with her has actually backpedaled on her earlier claims, now saying the alleged affair happened in 2011, way before Kanye was dating Kim. While this has been cleared up, Leyla is still warning Kim that Kanye will "never be faithful." Leyla came forth and said she met Kanye when she went backstage at his concert on November 22, 2011 in her hometown of Montreal. She revealed, "I was introduced to him at the Montreal concert. We met backstage as I knew members of his band. We ended up having sex at the Thompson Hotel." But that wasn't the last time the two would meet. She continued, "He then flew some friends and I out to Toronto for his two concerts in the next two days. We had sex again there. This was all before Kim Kardashian and he never spoke about her." You might think that would be the end of the story. WRONG! Leyla goes on to say, "But what I do know is that Kanye is a Romeo — he can never be trusted. He will never be faithful to one girl and has women falling at his feet all the time." When confronted with claims that Kanye had cheated on Kim with Leyla in October, Kanye's reps responded that it was all false. Kim's BFF Jonathan Cheban also stook behind Kim and Kanye during the rumors. Leyla siad, "I can’t believe all this publicity — I’m having anxiety attacks. I’ve been out with other singers and never kissed and told. I’m not starting now. I’m not the type to talk about such things — I’ve got family and friends to consider." Kanye still denies the claims. Kim Kardashian welcomes baby girl month early

Kim Kardashian, the queen of reality TV and partner rap star Kanye West are celebrating the birth of a baby girl. Kim realised her dream of becoming a mum on Saturday, a month earlier than her July due date. Kim gave birth in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with boyfriend Kanye and her mother, Kris Jenner, by her side. Given the timing of the birth, Kim's daughter is being monitored in an incubator as a precaution and both mother and baby are said to be doing well.

 The new arrival is the icing on the cake for the overjoyed couple who have become one of hottest celebrity pairings thanks to a series of high octane appearances since they began dating a year ago. Unlike her sister Kourtney, who shared the birth of her two children Mason, four, and Penelope, ten months, on their show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim brought her daughter into the world without the presence of cameras. In a recent magazine interview, the LA socialite explained that her attitude to privacy had changed because of Kanye.

 She said she'd become "more of a recluse" while expecting as a way of "preparing to respect the privacy of my child and my boyfriend". In a Mothers' Day blog Kim also admitted to being "nervous and anxious" about the challenges ahead, but added: "I'm also excited knowing that I learned from the very best." By the very best she meant her mother and manager Kris Jenner, who has six children and four stepchildren from two marriages. Kim described the matriarch as "a strong and ambitious career woman" who "still manages to put family first and continues to look out for us every day". She also praised her big sister Kourtney as an "incredible mum".

 "She is super woman with her ability to effortlessly balance work with taking care of two amazing kids," she went on. "I am so lucky to have her as my guide and confidant as I too become a mother." The 32-year-old can also rely on the support of her devoted partner. What may seem like a whirlwind courtship actually comes after a decade-long friendship, during which they were each other's rock through bereavement and heartbreak. Kim was there for the rap Midas man when his beloved mother Donda died in 2007. He in turn comforted her when she was criticised for breaking off her marriage to Kris Humphries after just 72 days. Throughout the pregnancy, Kanye has been a pillar of strength, especially when his love was the target for negative comments about her maternity fashion and weight gain. He serenaded her on stage during the Met Ball singing:

"Don't let nobody bring you down/You're so awesome/You're so awesome." Kanye West announced their baby news in a similarly adorable fashion, spilling the beans to fans at a New Year's Eve concert via an adapted version of his hard-hitting rap tune Runaway. The original lyrics tell a hypothetical girlfriend to flee because of his commitment phobia. In a softer ballad version for Kim, he adlibbed: "Even if it wasn't planned/God gave us a new plan/ Now you're having my baby/And it means so much to me for us to raise a family". Overcome with emotion, he finished by urging the 5,000-strong audience to "make some noise" for his "baby mama".

 The E! star has also told friends she and Kanye talked about using his late mom's name, Donda, as the baby's middle name. When the new mom found out their baby's gender, she said on the season premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, "Who doesn't want a girl? They're the best. And I know that's what Kanye has always wanted, he wanted a little girl."

UPDATE: Kim Kardashian has given birth to a healthy baby girl on June 15 at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, according to a TMZ report. With boyfriend Kanye West by her side through the whole thing, Kim's delivery of the couple's first child is a few weeks ahead of schedule (we were so close!).

The Kardashian insider who spoke with TMZ indicated that the baby was delivered via natural birth, running counter to rumors that Kim planned to have a C-section. "She started having contractions Friday night and went into full labor early Saturday AM," the report concludes.

We're so happy for mama, daddy, and the whole Kardashian krew! More as this story develops.

Earlier: Is Kim Kardashian really in labor? Early reports from Daily Mail, Huffington Post and Radar Online say yes, but there is no official confirmation from Kim's camp. However, the word on the street is that baby daddy Kanye West skipped out on his own CD listening party last night to rush to Kim's side. And considering Yeezy's commitment to his baby Yeezus, we're thinking there's only one thing that could have pulled him away from that party —his actual baby.

Kim Kardashian Gives birth to little Kimye

The wait is finally here, as new parents Kim and Kanye welcome their bundle of joy to the world early this morning.

But apparently to sources say, that she was with Kanye the whole way through their daughter birth, and that is the most sweetest thing any guy would do. 'This isn't America's baby': Kanye West protective over unborn baby and pregnant Kim Kardashian

Kanye West might be having a baby with the most photographed woman in the world, but he is determined that his little girl won't grow up in the spotlight.

"This is my baby. This isn't America's baby," he told the New York Times this week, as he spoke about his brief stint on girlfriend Kim Kardashian's reality series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

"You know, the amount of backlash I got from it when I decided to not be on the show anymore," the rapper said, admitting he didn't like the attention. "And it's not that I have an issue with the show; I just have an issue with the amount of backlash that I get.

"Because I just see like, an amazing person that I'm in love with and want to help."

Kanye, 36, who is expecting his first baby with Kim this month, also shared his views on parenthood, explaining that he felt it was his duty to protect his two ladies.

"One of the things was to be protective, that I would do anything to protect my child or my child'smother," he said. "As simple as that."

The US star — who described himself as the "Steve Jobs of popular culture" — went on to state that he doesn't want his daughter to become public property. "Well, I just don't want to talk to America about my family. Like, this is my baby. This isn't America's baby."

Kanye's frank interview comes amid allegations he had a fling with Canadian model Leyla Ghobadi, 24, while in a relationship with Kim.

Leyla told America's Star magazine that she started seeing the musician in July 2012, and that their affair continued even after Kim, 32, had announced her pregnancy when Kanye told her his relationship with the reality star was "for publicity and nothing serious".

Her claims have been dismissed by Kim's representatives and Kanye's spokesperson, who added, "This most recent attack on Kanye West and his family is totally without merit.

"It is a blatant attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity, and another in a series of malicious stories drummed up by non-credible 'news' sources. This is a sad attempt to hurt two people trying to live their lives."

Brody Jenner Reconciles With Bruce Jenner on Keeping Up With the Kardashians

 

Keeping Up With the Kardashians' season 8 premiere on June 2 focused mostly on the women in theKardashian-Jennerfamily, but episode two was all about the men -- in particular, Brodyand Bruce Jenner. As teased in a sneak peekfrom the June 9 episode, Brody confronted his father about not being there for him when he was growing up.

The drama between the two began when Brody and his brother Brandon joined Bruce, Kendall, and Kylie for a day at the beach. Watching Bruce with the girls, Brody was surprised to see how affectionate and playful his dad was -- especially considering the 29-year-old reality star's own relationship with the 63-year-old former Olympian.

"Bruce, my dad -- I don't know which one to call him -- Bruce and my mother, they had some sort of messy divorce," Brody explained in a confessional interview. "I was the one child who didn't really have the greatest relationship with Bruce."

"I grew up with my stepdad," he continued. "Bruce was never around for me. I can't even tell you how many birthdays went by where Bruce wasn't there. And I resent him for that."

Later, seeing Bruce joke around with Brandon over lunch, Brody felt another twinge of jealousy. "The way I see Bruce with Kendall and Kylie and Brandon, I'm actually so happy for them," he said. "I think Bruce is an incredible human being and I think that Bruce is an incredible father -- he just wasn't a great father to me."

After lunch, Brody pulled his dad aside for a little heart to heart -- only to be shot down yet again. "It's interesting to watch how you are with the girls," he began. "Because it's something I'm not really used to. You weren't around when I was a kid and it's like..."

"Now's not the time to talk about it," Bruce said curtly. Later, he blamed Brody for being distant and argued that his son had never really understood how his divorce from Linda Thompson affected their relationship.

The Jenner patriarch had a change of heart, though, when Rob Kardashian lamented the fact that he'd never be able to have a sit-down with with his own father, who died of cancer in 2003. At his family's urging, Bruce orchestrated a talk with Brody, in which he explained that "there came a point [during the divorce] where it became too difficult" to continue the relationship with his son. He admitted that he hadn't handled things well and said not being a good dad was "the biggest regret of his life."

"I certainly want to be part of all my kids' lives," he told Brody, who agreed to move forward and "work on establishing a better relationship.

"Regardless of what happened in the past, I want to have a relationship with my son," Bruce said in a confessional. "And the bottom line is, I have to take the responsibility."
